5. Your Digital Profile (Public Information)
What's Public: When you create a Blackbook profile, certain information is publicly accessible via your custom URL (e.g., blkbook.me/yourname):

Contact information you choose to display
Social media links
What's Private: Your Vault (saved contacts, notes, tags, voice transcripts) is completely private. No one can see who you've saved or what notes you've added—not even other Blackbook members.
Controlling Your Profile: You can edit or delete your public profile anytime in Settings.
6. Data Retention
Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active.
After Account Deletion:
Your public profile is removed immediately
Your private Vault data is deleted within 30 days
Backups may retain data for up to 90 days for disaster recovery
Some data may be retained longer if required by law (e.g., payment records for tax purposes)
Inactive Accounts: If you don't use Blackbook for 3 years, we may delete your account and data after notifying you.
7. Your Rights (GDPR & Privacy Rights)
If you're in the EU/EEA, Switzerland, California, or other jurisdictions with privacy laws, you have the following rights:
