I built Blackbook because I was tired of losing people.
Every wedding, every shoot, every event —
I’d meet planners, photographers, designers I wanted to remember. We’d swap Instagrams.
Maybe a business card.
Then three months later, when I actually needed them? Gone. Handle forgotten. Card misplaced.
So I open the app to search.
Scroll my followers.
Was it studio.something or photo.by.what?
Twenty minutes later, I’ve saved some Reels,
bought something I didn’t need —
and forgotten why I opened the app in the first place.
We’re running our businesses
on platforms designed to distract us.
So I built Blackbook.
